I’m Robinson, and I'd like to ask for help so I can make time to plan, write, and release two-three books while I build my upstart indie book publishing company called Blacktop Press. This fundraiser is for me and for the work I want to put into the world to ultimately add to the western canon of literature. But I need room to focus on my art without the constant pressure of basic daily costs. These books require time, discipline, and a clear mind. Support from others would give me that chance. Consider any donation an artist's grant.

The truth is simple: these funds would help me cover food, gas, and bills while I work on these projects. The funds would also help pay for advertising and promotion once the books are ready for release through Blacktop Press. If you choose to donate, you can consider yourself a patron of the arts. Your support would help me finish these books and push independent publishing forward and toward a larger voice in the world of literature. I would also like to use some of the funds to publish other indie authors for free through Blacktop Press.

My debut novel, Cold Was The Ground, is now available for purchase at robinsonmcgiffin.com and blacktoppressbooks.com, and three more books are set for release in 2027 and early 2028 through Blacktop Press. I’m grateful for any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser with others. Thank you for your belief in me and in the stories I want to tell.
