It is with a heavy heart that I share this news with Robinson’s friends and community. Robinson is currently being held in Burnet County Jail under an ICE hold and is facing deportation.

Many of you know him through skateboarding or the countless ways he's shown up for the people around him. He is now facing a legal battle to remain in the country he has worked so hard to call home. Returning to Venezuela is not a safe option for him. His political activism and opposition to the Maduro government made him a target in his home country. Faced with threats and an uncertain future, he left everything behind in search of safety and a chance to rebuild his life. Since arriving in San Antonio, like so many immigrants, he has worked tirelessly to create stability while navigating the challenges of starting over in a new country far from his family and support system.

The full cost of legal representation may exceed what we raise here, but our goal is to help Robinson secure legal counsel as quickly as possible. Any amount raised will go directly toward attorney fees and legal expenses associated with his immigration case.
