Help Robin's Wilderness Adventure

I am a 17-year-old girl who has lived in Solon my whole life. While I love my town of 3,000 people, l've always had an itch to discover the world beyond. It has always been a dream of mine to travel and discover new places, so when I saw this program, I had to give it my best shot. I have many reasons why I believe this trip would be an amazing experience. First of all, I think unplugging and getting away from the pressures of society would give me a chance to reconnect with myself. Being somewhere with no connection to the outside world, no social media, and no mirrors would allow me to focus on giving and helping the wilderness around me. I care deeply about the planet and want to contribute to protecting and helping the wildlife inhabiting it. This would be a journey of self-discovery, as it would help me clarify what matters to me most. This would be a perfect opportunity that could guide me to a career that allows me to work in and protect the wilderness. I also think that meeting new people and having this experience with a diverse group would help me better understand the world outside of Solon. I am a friendly and welcoming person who loves making new connections and impacting people positively. I'd love to get to know my fellow journey mates while discovering the beauty of Idaho alongside them. This would be a life-changing adventure that would help me deeply understand the world around me and the role I play in it.
