To know her is to love her, Robin Stacy Giovinazzo is a prideful, compassionate, generous woman. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, neighbor and coworker we have all experienced the pure, honest, loving character within her. Many of us may have never known the struggle Robin is currently enduring as she fights for her life. While she is often first to support or donate to a cause, she would not consider asking for help for herself. It is with heart felt sincerity I ask as a concerned friend, we consider a comfortable donation to help sustain the mounting medical treatment and care expenses.
A $5 contribution is as meaningful as $100 contribution.
Altogether any amount will collectively be helpful.
On July 1, 2021 Robin was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a form described as dangerously aggressive. The oncologist quickly scheduled surgery for July 28, 2021. This procedure produced the removal of a 2cm cancer tumor and 9 lymph nodes. With a minimal post-operative recovery time the oncologist again reminded Robin of the aggressive nature of this type of cancer and on September 8, 2021 began the first of the 20-week Chemotherapy treatment plan. This weekly 2 ½ hour treatment will be followed with a 5 day, 5-week Radiation treatment plan.
During these challenging times, Robin was denied Supplemental Disability Benefits after being unable to work due to physical restraints with her existing condition. On October 15, 2021 Robin’s husband Tony was given a lay-off from his employment leading him to file for unemployment. This loss leaves them with limited income and an increased expense of the “Cobra Medical Gap Coverage”. Most recently, while Tony and Robin traveled together to receive the needed chemo therapy treatment, they encountered a $400 car repair. While credit cards allowed Tony to manage the needed auto repair while Robin was in treatment, I’m sure you can empathize in the immediate reality that credit cards can only carry us as far as our income.
Canton Ohio is the location of all immediate family. Cancer and Covid separate Robin from her family. While at this time she is unable to feel the physical comfort of support through close contact of family and friends, please join me in providing moral support and financial assistance. Let us ease the mind and soul to aide in healing and restoration by lessening the financial burden.
You may offer a secure online donation and/or you may mail a personal check.
