Hi everyone,
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. My dog Robin—my best friend and family—has suddenly become paralyzed due to IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease).
One moment she was herself, and the next she lost the ability to move her back legs. Watching her try to understand why she can’t stand or run has been heartbreaking. Despite this, she still wags her tail and looks at me with trust, not knowing what’s wrong—only that she needs help.
Veterinary specialists have told me that urgent spinal surgery is her best chance to regain movement and live without pain. The total cost for imaging, surgery, hospitalization, and recovery is approximately $10,000. Time is critical—the sooner the surgery happens, the better her chances of walking again.
I have exhausted my savings and explored every option available to me, but I cannot do this alone.
Robin loves the beach, wide patches of grass, and being chased just for fun. She has so much life and joy left in her. I’m doing everything I can to fight for her chance to walk again.
If you’re able to donate, any amount helps more than you know. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing or keeping Robin in your prayers. Your kindness, support, and love mean everything to us right now.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping me give Robin a chance at healing.
With gratitude,
Vinny & Robin
