Hi, my name is Hanna, and I’m reaching out for help for my 5-month-old miniature schnauzer, Robin.
We’ve been taking Robin to the vet since she was just 3 months old, trying to figure out what was wrong. She was having strange symptoms — low energy, vomiting, confusion, and eventually, seizures. It wasn’t until recently that we finally got answers. After multiple visits and tests, Dr. Metts diagnosed her with a liver shunt — a serious condition where her liver can’t properly filter toxins from her bloodstream.
This condition is what’s causing her seizures and exhaustion. She’s scared, confused, and I feel helpless watching her struggle to control her little body. It breaks my heart.
We’ve already spent over $1,000 trying to get her diagnosed, and now Robin needs a detailed ultrasound and, most likely, life-saving surgery to correct the shunt. The surgery alone is estimated to cost $12,000, not including follow-up care and ongoing testing.
I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t cover these costs alone. That’s why I’m asking for your help — $25 $10 $5 no amount is too small. Every dollar brings us closer to giving Robin the healthy life she deserves.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Thank you so much for reading and for caring about Robin.
With love and gratitude,
Hanna H. & Robin
