I am reaching out because I’m preparing to undergo major spine and neck surgery, a life-altering procedure that will require an extended recovery period and full-time medical leave. This surgery is not optional—it’s essential for my long-term health, safety, and quality of life. While I think I am facing this with strength and courage, the physical, emotional, and financial toll is immense.

As someone who works tirelessly with individuals with disabilities, I have built ties to the Philly and HMS School Community, and I am rooted in empathy, service, and advocacy. I show up every day with heart and commitment, often prioritizing others' needs. Whether it’s empowering those with different abilities, organizing community efforts, or simply being a source of helpfulness to those around me—I exist to help others.
