As many of you know, our brother, Robin, is a dedicated classical musician who has shared his gift as an oboist with audiences across the region—performing with the Pittsburgh Opera, the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra in West Virginia, and numerous other ensembles. Music and performance have always been his heart and soul.
Right now, he is facing the most difficult performance of his life. Following a heart attack in 2017, Robin was diagnosed with both heart failure and kidney failure. Right now, our primary focus is centered on managing both his heart and kidney health. Doctors are currently recommending a combined heart and kidney transplant, and he will be undergoing intensive care and specialized medical counseling throughout this crucial period.
Navigating these severe conditions involves complex medical treatments, ongoing procedures, specialized equipment, and intensive daily care. As a performing artist, taking extended time away from the stage means an immediate loss of income while medical bills and basic living expenses continue to accumulate.
Our goal is to lighten this financial burden so Robin can focus 100% of his energy on his health, medical care, and recovery. Donations will go directly toward medical treatment expenses, prescription medications, specialized care, and essential living costs while he is out of work.
Any support—whether through a donation, sharing this campaign, or keeping him in your thoughts—means the world to our family. Thank you for standing by Robin during this challenging time.
