On the afternoon of November 19th, 2025, Robin, David, Michele, and Alyssa experienced the unimaginable when a sudden house fire destroyed their entire home and everything inside. At the time of the fire, Michele and Robin were home, and by nothing short of a miracle, they were able to escape — along with their pets — before the flames overtook the house. When it was over, they were left standing outside with only the clothes on their backs.

This fire claimed every possession they owned: their furniture, electronics, personal items, memories, unopened Christmas gifts that had just been delivered, and even Michele's vehicle. In just minutes, it was all reduced to ashes.

Right now, they are trying to navigate the overwhelming reality of starting completely from scratch — finding temporary shelter, replacing essentials, securing clothing, and trying to piece together a sense of normalcy. They are still in shock, and the coming days and weeks will be incredibly challenging as they work to rebuild their lives one step at a time.
