My name is Cledia and I'm making this page on behalf of my sisters Yajaira and Clayronin and our family to help our father ROBERTO PICHARDO. He is a diabetic patient and had a fall in August that lead to a hospitalization , where unfortunately he caught pulmonary bacteria that went unnoticed. He was fully vaccinated against Covid-19, and DID NOT have Covid. He was intubated because his lungs stop working as well as his kidneys. He got dyalized for about 2 weeks and got a tracheostomy who allows is got Oxigen to his lungs, his medical insurance have meet the limit and now is running as a private patient.
We finally managed to find him a bed in a cardiac ICU in Centro Medico Cibao in Dominican Republic, but by that time his lungs were very weak and his heart had been impacted with 6 cardiac arrest till today. We are now fighting to save him. Words cannot express how much we love our father. He meant everything to us, when I was growing up, and continues to be a friend to me in my adult life. I cannot imagine losing him after all the love and care he have been provide to us and everyone close to him. Their daughters, wife, and step childrens and all his grandkids want their grandpa to be okay. There is a path forward for his recovery but it will require a lot of work, loss of income, and treatments not covered by insurance. God have been so generous to keep him alive with all the complications he has for a reason. If you are able to help in any way to get our family through this difficult time would be eternally grateful.
Thank you in advance
