Hello everyone. My name is Roberto Garza, and I am currently a first year student at Santa Barbara City College. Recently I have been accepted to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan for international communications this June!

I am very passionate about exploring new places, learning about different cultures, viewing art, and and being able to step outside my comfort zone and try new things. As someone who is studying in a health related major my passion also lies on my willingness to want help anyone in need. This program will help me broaden my skills in communicating with others, learning to be independent in a foreign country, accountability, and other skills necessary to be a global citizen. This program will also benefit applications to four year universities, as well as strengthen my resume when it comes to working in health care.

This program not only means a lot when it comes to perusing my education education, but it is also an opportunity of a life time for me. My final payment is due April 30th and need the last bit of funds to be able to go. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
