Roberta is my friend and coworker at the deli in Mount Juliet, TN. At 77 years old, she works full time alongside me, always bringing kindness and dedication to our team. Roberta has spent her life working hard and staying independent, and she’s a proud veteran who has always looked out for others.

Recently, Roberta’s life took a difficult turn when her previous vehicle was considered undriveable after an accident. Without a car, she’s been forced to walk to work every day, no matter the weather. This has made it much harder for her to get to her job, run errands, and stay connected with her community. As a veteran, Roberta also needs reliable transportation to get to the VA for her medical care, which is essential for her health and well-being.

We’re starting this fundraiser to help Roberta purchase a used and reliable vehicle so she can regain her independence and continue living life on her own terms.
