Hi my name is Susan Maxey and I am fundraising for Robert who is part of the group "Children

of Grace." A group of at-risk young adults led by me. They suffer backgrounds of poverty, violence,

addiction and abuse. Seeking to get their lives together, working hard to do right, and seeking God's grace above all.

Children of Grace came into being through Summer Camp programs led by Juvenile Justice, American

Red Cross and Stokes Volunteer Center. I have worked with Robert since the age of 14 and he is now 28. He has come through severe adversity to be where he is today. Coming from homelessness to living in his own home and seeking to

grow daily in the Light of God through grace and mercy.

His mobile home must have a new furnace. The current one does not work and his only source

of heat right now is a kerosene heater. It is not adequate nor safe by any means. Worried that as winter

progresses the pipes may freeze.

Working with Frye Heating and Air Conditioning of Madison, NC , a used furnace in excellent condition has been located. Cost of new furnace will total a little more than 3000.00.

Robert is very dear to me and it would mean so much if you would help make this new

furnace a reality. He is a good guy and deserves the very basic need of staying warm.
