Hello everyone, I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult periods of my life. This is not easy for me to share, but I truly need help. I am currently living with Meniere’s disease, which causes severe vertigo attacks that leave me incapacitated 3–4 times a week. When these episodes happen, I lose my balance, experience intense dizziness, nausea, and sometimes cannot even stand or function safely. It has made maintaining consistent work and daily responsibilities extremely challenging.
In addition to this, I have been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder (bipolar type) and PTSD. These conditions require ongoing treatment, medication, and stability to manage safely. When I’m able to stay on my medications and maintain a routine, I can function—but without support, everything becomes much harder. Right now, I am struggling to cover basic but critical needs, including: Medications (mental health and Meniere’s-related), transportation to medical appointments and essential errands, and housing costs to remain in a safe and stable environment.
The combination of physical and mental health challenges has made it incredibly difficult to keep up financially. I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat, but I cannot do this alone. Your support would help me stay consistent with life-saving medications, get to and from doctor appointments safely, and maintain stable housing during this time. Even small donations truly make a difference. If you’re not able to give, sharing this page would mean just as much to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for any support you can offer. It means more than I can put into words. With gratitude, Robert S. Owens
