Dear Friends,

I am reaching out to ask for help for Rob and Lindsey Slade, as they are facing the unthinkable. Just last month, Rob went into the ER for what he thought was a kidney infection only to be diagnosed with Stage 3C Seminoma Cancer. He now has to under go chemo every 21 days. Anyone that has under gone chemo knows that it completely takes everything out of you; even the strongest of us. He is doing his best to work as much as he can when he is not doing chemo but unfortunately his body is not doing well after his chemo sessions. And to top it off he does not have medical insurance. All the chemo and doctors visits are self pay out of their own pockets. After the first appointment at Moffit Cancer Center they are responsible for 35% of each office visit, bloodwork, scans, and chemo. Bloodwork and CT alone are almost $13,000 and that does not even include the chemotherapy.

Everyone knows that Rob would give anyone the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. As hard as it is for anyone to ask for help I am asking anyone that is able to do so to donate to his medical and life expenses. They have 3 little ones at home and with the holidays fast approaching and paying out of pocket to fight off this horrible diagnosis he could use all the help we can give him. Any contribution, large or small, will help them to face what lies ahead. Donations, sharing this fundraiser, messages, and expressions of concern all help them to feel less alone in this fight.

100% of this will go directly to his bank account and not a second party exchange. He has given me the permission to set this up as he is currently undergoing his 1st day of chemotherapy today.
