Bob Sease (NK Bowzer) needs your help!!!
On June 20th, 2025 at 4:30 PM, Bob was riding his motorcycle to a NAM KNIGHTS of America meeting in Copper Hill, TN to represent the Roosevelt Riders Chapter. Bob is the Vice President of the Chapter and was riding with Chapter President Mike (Token) Coles. The 78-year-old Vietnam Veteran was struck from behind by a pick-up truck causing severe catastrophic injuries. The truck ran over the top of Bob, pinning him underneath the pickup. He remained pinned for over 30 minutes while awaiting emergency services. Another Nam Knights brother Travis (Rodeo) of the Appalachian Mountain Chapter came to the scene and crawled under the truck to be with Bob for comfort and support. Ultimately, Bob was life flighted from the scene to a Chattanooga Hospital, where he will remain for the next 5-6 weeks. His injuries include a broken leg and ankle below his artificial knee, broken femur on the other leg, broken pelvis, numerous broken ribs, both hands completely de-gloved, and one arm almost completely severed at elbow. Thankfully, Bob had a high quality helmet on. The impact to the helmet caused it to be pushed down with such force that it ripped open his forehead and displaced and broke his nose. Bob also suffered internal organ damage, the extent not fully known. It truly is a miracle that Bob survived the accident.
The reconstructive surgeries are just beginning. It is clear that the pick-up driver's minimal insurance will be insufficient to cover the millions of dollars for air ambulance, medical and rehabilitation services plus the long term life changing support that Bob and Alice will require.
Bob, (Bowzer) as a Vietnam Veteran, has always been active in his local American Legion and the NAM KNIGHTS group. He loves to ride in the Memorial Day run to the Viet Nam Memorial wall and participates in rides for chapter member funerals. Bob was a factory worker and teamster at Frigidaire in the paint room until the factory moved to Mexico causing early Retirement.
Bob's wife Alice is being hit with catastrophic expense to maintain their home in Newnan GA while spending the next 6 weeks in a motel close to the hospital in Tennessee.
Please help with as much as you can. Bob has spent his life helping all he could and now he needs our help. We need to answer this call the best we can. Any and all support and prayers are appreciated !
