Hello everyone
My husband, Robert Martin, had been suffering from what he described as really bad back and shoulder pain and severe migraines since Friday, May 20. He went to urgent care Saturday, May 21, and his primary care doctor on Tuesday, May 24, thinking he was suffering from a heart attack. Both providers assured him that wasn't the case, and that he must've sprained the muscle in his shoulder. The pain did not subside, no matter how many painkillers he took. At 3:30AM this Thursday, May 26, I finally called the paramedics, because he kept saying that something was very, very wrong, and said his pain was getting worse. He said his back felt like it was being stabbed over and over by knives. The paramedics ended up taking him to the hospital, where they determined that he was suffering from a heart attack, with one of his heart valves, the "Widow Maker," being 100% blocked. Thankfully, the doctors were able to successfully put a stent in his heart. He is now in recovery and doing MUCH better!
Unfortunately, amazing Healthcare like this comes with a hefty price tag. I am currently employed and thankfully do have great insurance, but we still have a high out of pocket maximum. We definitely reached that max this week from the treatments, but it is going to be a major financial hardship on our family to manage these very high hospital bills we've incurred. I am hoping to get some help in covering the out of pocket max, which is $6,650. Any amount that you can send is greatly appreciated. And also, if you aren't in a position to help, we still appreciate your prayers and sending us good, positive, healing energy.
Thank you all, and hope your families are happy and healthy.
