Help Robert in His Battle with Cancer

Dear family and friends, please consider helping with my battle against cancer. On April 29, 2024 I went to the emergency room with severe lower back pain, there they discovered a tumor on my lower spine. I was then taken by ambulance to Utah Valley Hospital which specializes in treating spinal tumors. While in the hospital I was scanned multiple times by multiple machines and had two separate biopsies performed. I was in the hospital for 6 days before I was eventually discharged. I started radiation therapy treatment plan on May 6th and just completed 2 of the 7 weeks scheduled. Two weeks of Chemotherapy will start immediately after radiation therapy. I am presently walking with a cane and have slight paralysis on my lower right side. Even with two biopsies, they still do not know what type of cancer I have. The doctors feel confident it originated in the blood, which has become part of the S-2 bone, its an aggressive type of leukemia, blood born cancer. This week I was referred up to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at University of Utah to see what additional expertise can be offered. The Neurosurgeon at Huntsman is considering surgery to get another biopsy. During this procedure they’ll explore options to remove as much tumor off of the spinal-cord. I plan to fight this cancer with everything "Western Medicine" has to offer, and I am even open to exploring some "Eastern Medicine" options. I was told that some cases where stem cell and bone marrow transplant made a difference. My sincere hope and prayer is I'll have resources available if any other treatment is offer to me, no matter its location. Above all, what is most important, is that I honestly have no fear. Spirituality I’m very comforted to know how much I’m loved and cared for. I'm so grateful for all of your prayers, love, and friendships. Thank you for all of the home cooked meals, you all have been so generously providing me.
Please, don't stop.
Love, Robert
