Help Robert Escape Abuse and Find a New Life

My best friend Robert is having a major financial crisis, falling on hard times, and needs help and funds to get out of it. He was recently let go from his job and has been struggling to get a new one for a few months now. his car also broke down and needs repairs, so he can sell the vehicle to help him move and survive. He currently lives with his mother and stepfather who are mentally abusive, take advantage of him, and try to take his money so they don't have to work as they quit their jobs. Because of this, he has been struggling with a long history of great depression, frustration, and self-worth. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas. My father and I plan on having him move in with us here in San Diego, California 6 months from now to live a better life and have a better future. All his life he has been pushed down by them, stopping him from pursuing his dreams and giving him the chance to move out. However, due to a recent unreasonable and unfair discussion, they threaten to kick him out early and he will be rendered homeless and nowhere to go! I've been wanting so badly to help him get out of this situation for years but I have my own financial issues I have to deal with for survival. I just feel so awful and powerless to do anything to help his situation financially and didn't know really any other way to go about this that would make a physical impact! For all it's worth, I'm the only family he's got, and has his back whenever I can. I just want him to get away from that state and the people who are like parasites to him and keep him trapped. Letting him have a shot at a better life, get a chance to build a future and happiness with people who love and care about him, want to encourage him, see him soar, and succeed! He's a very hard worker who is always underappreciated and deserves better, some happiness and relief from the drama and stress that is forced and pushed upon him every day by these people. He's a good guy, a genuine friend, like a brother to me, and I really don't want to lose him!
