Robert Duveau is 78 years old. He worked hard all his life to care for his family and children. He adopted 4 children, and 2 of them, an 8 year old and a 16 year old are still under his care. He had been healthy all his life until recently when he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He tried treatment at MD Anderson but was told that a deposit of $ 21,000 had to be paid upfront, because he doesn’t have Medicare part B, which the family has applied to, but won’t be active until July. However, the oncologist told the family he doesn’t have time to lose, because his type of cancer is very aggressive, and gave him 5 days to come up with a payment plan.

The cheapest treatment plan will cost us $7,500 a month plus labs, imaging and Dr. fees. The monthly expenses will last until the Medicare part B becomes active which should happen in July.
