Hi, our dear colleague and employee at the Kings County Supreme Court , Robert Davis, experienced a heartbreaking tragedy on Monday, September 8, 2025.

A fire completely destroyed his home, and he lost absolutely everything. His landlord offered no response whatsoever to the tragedy. Over 20 families were displaced as a result of this horrific tragedy. Fortunately, he is physically safe, but he now faces the monumental task of rebuilding his life from scratch.

Robert is a valued member of our team and a wonderful person. This tragedy left him with nothing but the clothes on his back. He has lost not only his belongings but also countless precious memories.

We have created a GoFundMe to help Robert cover the overwhelming costs of this disaster. These funds will go directly toward essential needs such as costs incurred for temporary housing, a new home, clothes, food, and other basic necessities.
