A Heartfelt Appeal for Support During a Difficult Time

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

It’s with a heavy heart that we reach out today, and your continued support is needed. Our home was devastated by Hurricane Helene, and the road to recovery has been incredibly difficult and slow. We have lost everything—our furniture, appliances, clothing, and both of our leased vehicles. The damage is overwhelming, and we’re now facing the daunting task of rebuilding from scratch.

We’ve launched this GoFundMe campaign to help cover some of our most urgent needs during this challenging time. Here’s how your support can make a difference:

• Affordable short-term housing: FEMA has denied continued assistance, and after five months in hotels, we urgently need to find a rental with a kitchenette.

• Flood insurance delay: We have not yet received the flood insurance payment, and our financial resources are running low.

• Building permit delays: Our contractor can’t apply for a permit to rebuild without the final insurance claim, which is still pending.
