This morning, my uncle Robert Jenkins and his daughter Carrie Jenkins experienced a devastating house fire. They woke up to flames engulfing their home and, thankfully, managed to escape in time. Both are currently being treated at a local hospital for smoke inhalation. Sadly, their house is now a complete loss, and they have lost absolutely everything they owned. The shock and heartbreak of losing their home and belongings is unimaginable, but I am grateful that they are safe and receiving care.
Robert has always been a pillar of the Medford community. As a Medford firefighter for 27 years, he dedicated his life to helping others in times of crisis. Now, he and Carrie are facing a crisis of their own. They need to find new housing and replace all the essentials that were lost in the fire—from clothing and furniture to everyday necessities. The road ahead will be challenging, but with the support of friends, family, and the community, I know we can help them rebuild.
If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as Robert and Carrie start over. Your kindness and support mean the world to our family. Thank you for standing with them during this difficult time.
