I’m Robert, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself as I work on Kira World, a privacy-focused local AI companion that began from my own life and needs. I receive SSI and live with disabilities that can make it hard to connect with people and build lasting friendships. After difficult experiences, I wanted to create something private, supportive, and trustworthy that could run primarily on my own computer instead of sending every conversation to the cloud. Building Kira World has given me a positive goal, a sense of purpose, and hope that what I learn might someday help other people who are isolated, homebound, disabled, or simply looking for a more private AI experience.

Right now, I need help with my next hardware milestone: upgrading my computer’s memory from 32GB of RAM to a compatible 128GB DDR5 kit. My current setup slows down when I’m trying to run my local AI model, voice generation, Blender, the three-dimensional Home World, and other development tools at the same time. This upgrade would help me keep developing more efficiently, improve stability, and continue building features like Home World, AI memory, local voice, avatar systems, and accessibility tools.
