Help Robert Boeck Restore His Vision
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Robert Boeck. I’m a 72-year-old retired U.S. Army veteran currently living in the Philippines. I proudly served 20 years in the Army (1970–1990), and later worked for 5 years as a contractor in Afghanistan, supporting U.S. efforts overseas.
These days, I live a quiet life on a fixed income with my wife and our two daughters. Also living with us are my niece, nephew, and elderly mother-in-law. I do my best to take care of my family, but recently I’ve been facing a serious health issue that I can no longer ignore.
Over the past few years, I’ve been gradually losing my vision due to cataracts. My left eye is now down to about 50% visibility, and my right eye isn’t far behind. It’s getting harder to read, get around, and live independently. Without surgery, I risk going blind—and that terrifies me.
Unfortunately, the cost of cataract surgery here is beyond what I can afford on my limited retirement income. I’m reaching out and humbly asking for help to cover the cost of surgery and any related medical expenses so I can regain my sight and continue supporting my family.
Every dollar helps. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for your kindness and support.
With gratitude,
Robert Boeck
Note:
All funds will go directly to my father, Robert Boeck, who is living in the Philippines. I am organizing this on his behalf and will personally transfer 100% of the donations to cover his cataract surgery and medical needs. Will post surgery completion and doc notes after completion.
