Help Robert beat Limbic Encephalitis!
Donation protected
Our father Robert Balboa, father of 7 and grandfather to 10, is suffering from the rapid onset of Paraneoplastic Limbic Encephalitis which is attacking his brain. This attack has caused him to lose his memory, to constantly live in a state of confusion or depression, and keeps him from participating in day-to-day life. He was officially diagnosed in February after months of several trips to the hospital. We have tried to treat and mitigate the symptoms with Intravenous Immunoglobulin Therapy (IVIg) which started in early March (unfortunately he will most likely need these infusions for the rest of his life)

We need your help changing the purpose from current symptom only treatment to discovering the root cause of his disease and healing him. We have met with many doctors and have been directed to a functional medicine doctor who has estimated the cost of discovery and treatment to be $20,000. All money donated will help the Balboa family pay for Robert’s IVIg therapy and discovering the end solution to this disease.

Please consider donating through this GoFundMe campaign—all donations are deeply appreciated and we feel blessed to have such an incredible community behind us.
