My name is Rahsja, and I am reaching out for support for my brother, Robert, who was recently involved in a devastating car accident. As some of you may have seen in recent news reports, Robert was the driver of the Nissan Altima involved in a tragic crash caused by a wrong-way driver under the influence on the Capital City Freeway. This heartbreaking incident resulted in the loss of his beloved fiancée, Cheryl Ann Nicholle Reed, and left Robert with severe injuries including a major punctured artery, broken legs, a bruised liver, and fractured ribs.
Our family is shattered by this event, coming on the heels of another recent loss—our beloved aunt passed away just a couple days prior. These back-to-back tragedies have left us emotionally and financially drained. We are now facing mounting medical bills, and the urgent need to repair both my mother’s and oldest brother’s cars, while also struggling to keep a roof over our heads.
We are seeking to raise $25,000 to help cover the following expenses:
- Robert’s extensive medical bills
- Various necessities like clothes, medicine and other items to ensure Robert is both prepared & comfortable when he is released from the hospital*
- Repairs for both my mother’s and oldest brother’s cars, which are essential for our daily needs
