ALS Stem Cell Treatment Needed Urgently

I was recently diagnosed with ALS.

There are ALS stem cell treatments offered by various organizations and clinics in the United States.

With this disease, paralysis sets in eventually. You can also stop breathing at any moment and pass away.

I have been prescribed Riluzole, however this only slows the progression of ALS. It does not cure the disease and I will suffer the same fate, it’s just a matter of time.

The stem cell treatment uses stem cells specifically designed for ALS. The results have been the successful with helping ALS patients. The cost of this treatment is between $30k and $80k per treatment. Since it is considered experimental, my health insurance won’t cover the cost of the treatment.

I am the primary financial provider for my family. I work in Information Technology as a Systems Engineer, having spent decades as a Solutions Architect. I continue to work as long as I am able.

Music has always been a core part of my identity. I played piano for most of my life—across many genres, including rock, pop, country, some jazz, ragtime, and classical virtuoso works by Chopin and Franz Liszt. My mother, whom I recently lost, introduced me to music as a young child, and it became a lifelong passion. As the disease has progressed, atrophy has taken away my ability to play piano. Losing music has been one of the most painful losses ALS has imposed. I fear my independence and life may soon follow.

Above all, I am a husband and a father to three children. I try every day to make good choices and do the right thing for my family. Like any parent, my greatest hope is to be an active part of my family. I need to be here for my wife, to see my children marry, and one day to know my grandchildren.

I am applying at multiple locations for stem cell treatments. Once accepted, I will update this page with the location and progress.
