Help Disabled Veteran Pay Off Emergency Septic Bill

Hi, I'm Kimberly. I'm asking for your help on behalf of my father, Robert, a disabled U.S. Army veteran and dialysis patient, who recently faced a dangerous and unexpected home emergency.

His septic tank system failed, causing raw sewage to back up into his home. For anyone, this would be a nightmare, but for someone with a compromised immune system and undergoing dialysis, it was life-threatening.

At first, we were told it would cost around $7,000 to repair, but once the system was examined, it was clear the entire tank and seepage pit had to be replaced, bringing the total to approximately $40,000 including what was originally paid out of pocket.

The situation was urgent. With no time to wait, we had to move forward with the work and secure high-interest financing just to make the home safe again. The repair is now complete, but the burden of the debt remains.

My father has always been the one to show up for others. After serving in the Army, he dedicated years to running a group home for developmentally disabled men providing food, care, life skills, and dignity. He gave from the heart and asked for nothing in return.

Now he needs help. Any amount received, $5, $50, or $500, will go directly toward paying off the emergency financing and helping my dad focus on healing in a safe, clean home.
