Help Robbie Rebuild After Amputation
Donation protected
Hello family and friends,
I have had diabetes for about 8 years. Since then, I have had multiple infections. In March 2021, I took a year to heal and walk unassisted from an infection in my right foot that led to 5 foot and neck surgeries and permanent C2/C3 spinal damage. A year to recover and be able to work again. I was then diagnosed with GastroParesis (GP).
In April 2022, I started RobbieWoodZ LLC, building Lowes & Homedepot wooden sheds. I was dealing with GP, vomiting on average 5 times a day on-site and another 5 throughout the rest of the day for 8 months. I stepped on a nail, my foot got infected and I lost my right pinkie toe. In June 2024, I got a necrotizing fasciitis infection in my left foot which ended with the amputation of my leg and foot from the shin down.
I'm a proud, hard-working man who doesn't want to live on disability. If possible, I want to work after recovery. I'm not sure of the time to recover, best case 6 months. My hope currently is to watch & enjoy my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter grow up and hang with me in the outdoors on Zeleznik Farm. Any help is appreciated!!!
