Hi, my name is Caroline and I’m fundraising for my partner Robbie and our family to obtain a wheelchair accessible van in order to make transporting easier to and from appointments and family outings.

Robbie, had a stroke in 2024 which has left him wheelchair bound. Robbie’s recovery didn’t go as we had hoped and prayed so as of now everyday is a new challenge. Going forward to having the freedom and dignity to be able to go places at ease therefore alleviating the strain with transporting Robbie.

We have 2 children that love having daddy in the car but it’s physically and mentally challenging.

As many of us take for granted one of our biggest challenges that Robbie and our family face everyday is getting in and out of the car.

Our current car is not wheelchair accessible so every time we go somewhere I have to physically lift him from the wheelchair into the car and then lift him back out again.

Any support that you could give would be very much appreciated for my beautiful family to help us get around, We have many things we still want to go and do especially with family and having a vehicle that’s wheelchair accessible will help us get there.
