Help Robb Walk America For Veteran’s Healthcare

Donation protected
My name is Ralph (R.G.B.) Robb and I'm going to walk across the United States (CA to DC) to learn about and bring awareness to the problems surrounding veterans' healthcare issues.

For two years, I worked undercover at the VA hospital in Aurora, Colorado, gathering evidence of expired and rotting food being served to veterans and their families—ultimately using that information to break the story under a pen name (Anton Sawyer) for a Colorado-based publication that I used to write for (Rooster Magazine).

Unfortunately, this ghastly treatment of our nation's heroes wasn't the only thing I uncovered.

Though the evidence and article were enough to get a full federal investigation opened, I learned that the food was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to the terrible treatment veterans faced at the VA. Because I was an innocent grill cook, doctors, nurses, and veterans themselves would tell me horror stories of corners being cut massively when it came to their healthcare; this is why I'm doing the walk.

My plan is to stop in as many towns and cities as possible and interview veterans, VA healthcare workers, and politicians to learn what these failures are and where the root causes can be found. After I've completed the walk and collected all the information possible, I am going to write a book telling the world about how our government actually treats its heroes, and where the systemic problems come from.

Due to the fact that I'm starting with almost nothing, I'm setting the goal at $9,000. The funds will go towards purchasing ALL of the supplies I'll need for survival on the trek: a tent, sleeping bag, pull-cart, food, walking shoes, etc. And, if I surpass the fundraising goal, the rest will be donated to the veteran-based charity, Dav.org, whose mission is to help veterans with disabilities and housing issues.

To help minimize the potential of encountering frigid temperatures, my plan is to start the walk on April 11th. This means I will be closing the campaign on April 3rd.

It's also important to know that everything surrounding this mission and book will be done without any political bias and is not meant to push any political narrative. During my time at the VA, I served just as many Republicans as I did Democrats—by supporting one side or the other would immediately alienate half of the veterans I'm trying to help.

With America's veteran population being approximately 16 million (including my father, sister, and her husband), I'm confident that if you're reading this, this mission will be just as personal for you as it is for me.

I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for any donation you can make. If you can't donate at this time, then sharing this page would be immensely appreciated. Thank you all!
