Hi my name is Yoli and I’m fundraising for my friend Rob. He is an active member of his community, and he does not deserve was has happened to him. His car was stolen, along with personal documents, his cellphone, expensive camera, and wallet with all his credit cards. Thieves took his car out of state immediately and starting running up his credit cards as soon as they could leaving Rob with nothing but unresolved claims. Crazy thing was that same morning Rob was part of a March for gun violence in the community and it was not even a few blocks from where they stole his car.

His words: I double parked my car and stepped out for a second and within just a few meters away someone hopped in my car when my guard was down and took off with it and all my personal belongings to include my phone, wallet and sensitive documentation. I chased after them as much as I could till they hit open traffic and made a clean getaway. I managed to get in contact with my friend and when he came down he couldn’t believe what happened so I called 911 off his phone the cops came and took down information before heading to the 34th precinct. From there I filed the police report and they were able to see the car had passed over the George Washington bridge within ten minutes after the auto theft. Later that night since I wasn’t able to access some of my accounts due to the layer of protection on my phone I saw they charged a few of my cards in multiple spots of New Jersey. I filed the reports with my insurance but as of now the credit cards are maxed out.

Because he is in the process of being cleared for the Yonkers fire department, it was probably the worse time ever he could have been robbed because all of his documentations were there.

He is a veteran, pursuing a firefighter career, and regularly shows support for his community in an honorable fashion. He’s always repping dyckman I’m heartbroken this has happened to him and I just pray it does not destroy his admirable spirit. I know this is a hard time But I have decided to help my friend with this gofundme and I hope we can at least cover the costs of his stolen camera, iphone, the cash in his wallet, and maybe enough to cover some immediate credit card fees since the thieves have left the credit issues for him to deal with.
