After having been inexplicably excluded from his father's will, Rob Morina, a lifelong family friend, has been forced to close his business after 37 years of operation due Ontario's COVID lockdown. To add insult to injury, in September, he's losing the Toronto apartment he's been renting since 1989 for $800 a month. I don't know what else to do, but to ask for help and see who this message resonates with:

My dad and Rob Morina have been friends since high school, and Rob has been in my life since I was born. To me, he is not just my parent’s friend – he is my family. He has been at every family event; experienced every one of mine and my family’s big milestones. For those of you who've had the pleasure of knowing Rob, you know him as a wonderful man. He is one of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. He has a way with words than can make you laugh, cry, then cry from laughing. I've included some of his heartwarming and hilarious stories at the end of this message, to give you a sense of his genuine nature.

This platform requires me to set a goal amount but setting a number is a hard task. Any contribution you can make to help is greatly appreciated. A little bit can go a long way.

Love,

Nichole

I received this package from Canada Post this morning at work, mail lady just open the door & took off, it was a smaller box than we would usually get & we usually have to sign for it, it was marked FRAGILE!!! Handel With Care!...This Side Up! so I was leery to open, I thought maybe a customer that went bad or maybe with road rage with my logo on SUV, when I open I could see it was Mary Macleod"s Short Bread Cookies so I thought they were doing a advertising campaign & sending me cookies, then I read note. Dear Rob, I hope these treats bring a little extra sweetness to your day...., it was from one of my favorite people in this world! Nichole Wakeman, for who that don't know, she is the Daughter of two of my best friends Steve (Dean) & Gaylene Wakeman, her & sister Mel are like daughters I never had, they worry about me & look after me... we have a lot of fun together, they have a very special place in my Heart! and I wanted to write this so you all knew that some little thing can make a person's day! The short breads are wrapped up so nice with big Purple Bow with clear plastic cookie container with about 20 assorted cookies in a circle , it looks to nice to almost open...it's a piece of art but I did say "Almost" Thanks again Nichole!...you did make my day a lot sweeter! XxX!

Yesterday I was on a picnic bench across the street in a Medical Building from where I live, killing time after my afternoon stroll looking at all the buses & women going to the bus terminal, not exactly in that order when I felt something grabbing & biting at my ass from behind so figure someone in my building with dog snuck up from behind. I turned around with my usual lightning speed that God has bless me with, there was nobody there so with even greater speed, I jumped! ...a jump that would of impress my old Toronto Tomahawks team mates , with a boy!... this guy can still move! It was a big! Racoon, jump was more like a 2 step dance move of fear! with a WTF as I'm trying to run away, this thing was right under the picnic table, it took off but not the speed I was hoping for, it turned around & gave me the stare down...that I was sitting in it's spot so I gave it a go fuck yourself! Ruined my chill time, had to go home to look at bare ass in the mirror, haven't seen bare ass in long time because I can't turn my neck as good, had to get on tippy toes just to get the whole ass in view in the mirror to see if it broke skin....what a site, I guess with all that scraping down my crease in the day, the ladies might not be bouncing quarters off it anymore but I'm sure Toonies would still work & if I gave it a little wax & a rip, you ladies might just get a urge to give it a little rub for 3 wishes

Since it's a dreary day here in T O I thought I would share. This took place down at Lake Ontario. Bro I just watched this guy around 40 with his wife, they had this Black Lab, it started to rain but he brought his dog out of the car, wife with a umbrella, he was walking dog real slow getting wet, thought it was strange when other dog owners where trying to get out of the rain so I see the guy bending over to pet the dog, it had stopped to lay down so he encourage the dog to get up, went for a bit but then it collapse again, this time it wouldn't get up, the pore dog, you could see it was a older Black Lab & the pore guy, he picked it up and carried the dog in his arms, hugging him or her with a special bond of Love! It made me feel sad & almost brought a tear! You could tell with wife & guy reaction that they knew it was time, just the way the pore guy was hugging his dog with face on face back to the car that they were heading to you know where, you can't beat the Love of a Dog & a Human, both getting soaking wet for one more little walk in their maybe favorite park together. Bro that was one sad coffee & muffin this morning
