Help Rob Van Durmen as he fights for his life

This fundraiser is for Rob Van Durmen. Rob is a captain and a medic on Southwest Fire District where he has been serving since 2002. Rob is also a volunteer for the Arcola Fire Department where he holds the title of assistant chief. Rob has been married to the love of his life Julie for 31 one years. He is a dad to 4 daughters, and a grandfather to 6 grandchildren, who adore him very much. In 2018, Rob was proud to start his own business that was shortly lived before COVID hit. If anyone knows Rob he wasn't going to let that stop him. Unfortunately, on August 3rd, 2021 Rob was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with legionella pneumonia. He has been on a ventilator and fighting for his life ever since. Rob did not have any medical insurance, and now has had no income since falling ill.

Due to the circumstances Julie has been by Rob's side as much as the hospital will allow her. The fate of Rob is in God's hands right now. The doctors are doing everything they can for him, but they are uncertain as to how this may play out.

We are asking for any donations that can help Rob and his family make it through these extremely difficult times. All proceeds will go to Rob and Julie. If you cannot donate any money we ask that you please keep Rob and his family in your prayers. Rob and his family are extremely faithful and can use all the prayers they can get at this time.
