Help Rob recover from cancer and get back to work

Donation protected
Quick update. After everyone so generously helped me get back in shape and ready to go to work we suffered not one but two floods in three days that were about three feet deep in my house. I have now lost everything. Even though we bought the instance policies recommended to us, including flood insurance, we are underinsured and can’t even get our house completely restored with what they are paying. Almost all of our contents have been destroyed, soaked in sewage infested flood water. My home music recording studio, my grandmothers player piano, my wood and metal shops, all gone. Read on the hear the story of the cancer that almost killed me prior to the flood below. I am not one to beg but this flood has made an already extremely diifixult situation almost unbearable. Due to the chemo my immune system is extremely weak and I should t even be on my property but I have no choice but to save what i can. You can continue reading to hear about my cancer treatment battle below. In the meantime thank you for any help you can give. In addition to cash I am also asking any of my musician friends or sim racing friends for any old gear they don’t need anymore or could spare. Thank you for your time and generosity. Hey everyone, my name is Rob and for the last year I have been battling rectal cancer. I've had chemo, radiation, two major surgeries and a final round of IV chemo infusions. Before my diagnosis I was working two jobs, a full-time job as an electrical estimator / project manager and a part time job estimating for another company. During my treatments I managed to keep both jobs, although I did have to back the full-time job down to part time status, up until the final round of chemo. At that point the mental toll of the chemo and the drugs that accompany it made it impossible for me to keep up with my main job. I reluctantly resigned that position. I am able to keep up with my work from home part time job but it has become quite a bit more difficult as I have to check and recheck everything, I do for mistakes caused by the mental effects of the chemotherapy and the drugs.
Changing my status from salaried full-time employee to part time hourly employee obviously affected my income negatively. I don't want to get into exact numbers as I'm certain this will be seen by employees of that company and discussing pay with other employees is never a good idea, let's just leave it at a significant decrease in income to the tune of many thousands of dollars.
While my wife and I did have some savings put aside for emergencies it was definitely not enough to make up the deficit of first going part time and then resigning from my main job.
As it stands now, I am done with chemotherapy and simply need time to rest and regain my strength as well as complete bowel training to try to get my surgically altered digestive system functioning as normal as possible. I also need some time to recover my mental faculties, which according to my oncologist could be as long as six months with no guarantee that I will ever be as sharp as I was before the chemotherapy.
This is a difficult position for me as I am usually the guy offering to help other people and now I find myself in need of assistance.
We have pared our budget down to bare minimums, cancelling noncritical services, tried to work out payment plans wherever possible and even changing our food shopping habits. Still after slashing our spending as much as possible, I am still facing a deficit over the next few months. In addition to normal bills, car payments, insurance and more I'm facing three thousand dollars max out of pocket medical expenses as I need several tests and scans in the next couple of months including a CT, an MRI and a colonoscopy.
As if all this wasn't bad enough, we live on a small creek off of the Trinity River. During the last three months we have had several "high water" incidents. During the first incident a large tree trunk was carried by the currents directly into one of the bulkheads that protects our house and the land it's built on from erosion. The initial tree trunk damage was completed by the following high-water incidents, and I now find myself needing to file an insurance claim to have these bulkheads replaced before any more erosion occurs and our house is compromised. That will involve a 4-thousand-dollar deductible. I'm not looking to have the fishing piers we had replaced just the bulkheads; this will still involve an insurance claim and deductible.
As much as it hurts to have to swallow my pride and ask for help, I don't have many other options.
Like i said earlier, I have always prided myself on being a guy who goes out of his way to help people both in business and in my personal life, some of you seeing this may have been on the receiving end of that before. I'm hoping that any good will I've built up over the years will come back my way now. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Please help me get the word out about my plight and pass this along and know that you are absolutely helping someone who has done everything he can to avoid getting into this situation for as long as possible.
Thank you for reading this and thanks for any help you can give.
