Help Rob Recover and Fight Cancer
Donation protected
This is Rob. I'm Julie, his person <3. Last week, I called 911 because he hadn't been feeling well. I'd noticed facial drooping and thought he'd had a mild stroke. They did an MRI and found a baseball-sized tumor in the right frontal part of his brain. On Christmas day, he had surgery where they removed 85 to 90% of the mass. The surgery has left him unable to move anything on his left side, and he's unable to see out of his left eye. We're optimistic these things are temporary, and the next step is rehabilitation to get him strong enough to come home where the battle begins beating cancer. This will be a long journey. He's already had brain cancer at the age of 30. Rob is a character: creative, artistic, and can fix just about anything. If you would like to help in any way, it's greatly appreciated. No donation is too small. Anything to take some of the weight off of us so that we may focus on getting him home and cancer-free. We've got bills that'll be piling up, a mortgage, etc. Any donations will be going towards those bills, meals, preparations of the house for his care as they present themselves, transportation costs for me to enable me to get to the hospital daily, and parking. Anything related to his care or that helps alleviate some of the weight off of me so that I can be there for him every step of the way! I don't want him to worry about anything except getting better. I will keep everyone updated on where your donations are going and how they are helping. There are amazing and generous people out there, and I am hoping that this story finds you. Thank you.
All my love and gratitude,
Julie
