My husband Rob, a wonderful and caring man was severely injured. This occurred while helping his deceased friend's family. As people know he is one of the strongest men you will have ever met. He loves to be a good role model and mentor with his actions and skills. He's always willing to help out at a moment's notice when he can, and trying to be there for others.

 

On October 3rd, while in the process of removing his friend's gun safe from the home a firearm discharged several rounds from within the locked safe. Rob was struck on the left side of his face, neck, ear, and chest. He was taken to Kaweah Delta in Visalia and then flown to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. So far he has undergone two surgeries to help repair some of the damage done by the metal fragments and may need more surgeries. He is still currently in ICU.

 

My husband is a strong man but he faces a long road to recovery. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
