Hi everyone, Rob Tiongson here. As many of you know, I’ve dedicated the last several years to covering the world of motorsports and the WNBA through The Podium Finish (TPF). From the trackside at NASCAR and INDYCAR events to the sidelines with the Dallas Wings, my goal has always been to bring you the best stories in sports. Unfortunately, my primary workhorse, the MacBook Pro I use to run my outlet, edit our content, and publish our features, suffered a catastrophic hardware failure (the dreaded 'Pink Screen of Death'). After a marathon 8-hour attempt to save it, the hardware has officially reached its finish line. I'm currently using a temporary setup, but to keep TPF running at the level you expect, I need to replace my dedicated professional machine.

Having a dedicated MacBook Pro is the heartbeat of my operation as Editor-in-Chief. It allows me to coordinate a team of 80 contributors and process massive amounts of sports media simultaneously—something I cannot sustain on a shared or temporary device. For my readers, it means faster updates from the track and the court. For my team, it means having a leader who isn't sidelined by hardware failure. This machine isn't just a laptop; it's the tool that keeps The Podium Finish in the race.
