Help Rob Heal — Let’s Show Up for the One Who’s Always There

Yesterday, our dear friend Rob was airlifted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. Tomorrow, he faces open heart surgery — a moment none of us saw coming, but one that reminds us how quickly life can change.

(Update: Rob had the quintuple bypass on the 14th of April and it went well. He is still at the hospital recovering from it as of now. I will update when and if there are any changes to keep everyone updated). 

If you know Rob, you know he’s never met a stranger. He’s one of the kindest, most genuine souls out there. He’s funny, warm, and insanely talented. When Rob finds something he loves, he doesn’t just dabble — he dives in headfirst and pours his whole heart into it. Whether he’s making music, painting, playing disc golf, surfing, shaping surfboards, creating one-of-a-kind jewelry, woodworking, kite flying, chasing ghosts on paranormal investigations, or posting new adventures to his YouTube channel [@OldCityVlogs], he brings magic and joy into everything he touches.

And Rob has always shown up for everyone around him. Always. No hesitation, no questions — just pure heart and generosity.

Now, it’s our turn to take care of him.

Rob and his awesome wife Darcy — who’s just as wildly talented, creative, and kind as he is — are facing a long road of recovery ahead. But one thing we can do is help ease their financial stress so they can focus on his recovery, not bills. Every donation will help cover medical costs, time away from work, and the many unexpected expenses that come with something like this.
