Help Rob Finish Last Year of School

Good Afternoon friends , family, peers and loved ones. I hope this message finds you well and i’m good spirits. Despite the hard times we have endured as a community, it is important to find the light in ever situation as well as move forward regardless our circumstances. That is what brings me here today, as most of you know , in March of 2019, we lost the ethereal force that is my mother, Crystal Lynell Hines.
Two years later and the memories of that experience are still fresh in my mind to this day. By leaps and bounds it was truly the darkest time of my life and I cannot put into words the pain that lingers in her absence. In spite of this, I used it as motivation, to get back on track , physically , mentally , academically and very much literally. I made a vow to myself to do what I had to do, for me and for her. My mother wanted nothing more for me than to be the most successful I can be, and college is a key step in that process , so I’m taking it.
Since then, I have completed 3/4 years of my college education at FAMU, during that process I made changed to myself that I knew would make me a better individual, I rejoined the collegiate track program, and even switched my major to Psychology in hopes to learn more about not only myself, but to help others in the future as well. I won’t lie, this transition has been difficult , between readjusting to new classes, the COVID-19 Outbreak, and simply growing into an adult without being able to phone the woman I called “Mom” has been stressful, expensive , and often times ....disheartening. But then I remind myself why i’m doing it, and who I am doing it for , not only myself, but for her , for all the work she did to get me to this point. For the time, money, resources and love that she poured into me in my 18 years with her. I refuse to let it go to waste , and i’m so close to walking across that stage I can practically feel the degree in my hand. So i’m doing whatever it takes to get me there , including taking summer courses, starting work,applying for scholarships , and training harder than ever for this upcoming track season.
However, the price for tuition is high and classes are starting soon so I have to work quick. My beloved family and friends, this is my outreach for your help. I’ve Created a GoFund me in hopes to get any form of assistance I can in finishing my College Undergrad Experience strong! If you could provide any form of donation or even words of support , I welcome it with open arms! This is the last leg of the most life changing journey I have been on thus far and I want to make it count. I want to thank you for all of your support love in her absence and know it is and always will be my mission to make her proud.
