Rob Pfluger is a Marine Veteran and in immediate critical need of financial help. I am trying to raise a minimum of $1500 that Rob needs within the next 2 weeks (or sooner) for his car payment, living, and medical expenses. Rob lost his job, lost his wife, lost his medical insurance and may lose his car.
Rob lives in Florida. In March (2021) Rob's wife, Trasey, died from COVID-19 quickly, and unexpectedly. In the pandemic months before March, Rob lost his job (due to the pandemic) while he was also dealing with a foot injury that became infected. Soon after his wife came down with COVID-19, Rob was also diagnosed with COVID-19 and hospitalized with related pneumonia. Rob's wife's income and insurance was keeping Trasey and Rob afloat after Rob lost his job and medical complications began with his foot. Though Rob is starting a new job, the complete lack of current income and loss of insurance means Rob is at risk of losing his car (car payment is coming due) and Rob has only the help of some relatives for food, living expenses, gas and mounting medical bills.
Helping Rob with a donation will mean the difference between Rob keeping his car to get to his new job and having money for living expenses until he gets his first paycheck and also qualifies to receive new insurance coverage.
My bond, with Rob, is that he is a Marine brother. As a Marine Veteran, I know I speak for myself and for Rob that we'll be extremely grateful for any contribution, large or small. This "Go Fund Me" was not Rob's idea, yet myself and other Marines I know felt compelled to brainstorm how we can help Rob. Please consider donating!
Sincerely,
David Vita, Gunnery Sergeant, Marine Veteran
