On behalf of Lisa's coworkers, the RN Navigators, we are raising funds to assist her in paying for her bills. Lisa had reproductive surgery 5 weeks ago due to cancer. Unfortunately, due to serious complications, she has had 2 abdominal surgeries with drains placed, a large open wound being treated by wound specialists, and now requires nutrition (TPN) via a central line as she cannot have any oral intake. Lisa is confined to the hospital for an unknown period of time while her abdominal and gastric issues heal.

Once she is released from the hospital, she will then be treated for the breast cancer that was diagnosed right before her surgery. Lisa has already used up all of her PTO (paid time off) from the hospital and is the sole provider for her elderly mother and herself. With mounting medical bills, the financial strain is overwhelming. We want to ensure that Lisa can focus on her treatment and recovery without the added stress of financial worries.
