Help RM's Family During ICE Raids

UPDATE 7/9/25 I wish to thank everyone who opened up their hearts to donate to this fund for our gardener who is fearful of working due to the ICE raids. It’s a terrible thing what the Trump administration is doing. It’s like the Gestapo racial profiling and attacking and picking up anyone they see who looks Hispanic. It’s unconscionable!!! Anyway, I was able to raise $895 and after GoFundMe took a fee, I added more of my personal funds so I could send the family $1,000. They are so grateful. Here’s a beautiful note I received from them. Thanks again for all your support. It means so much during these terrible times. June 13, 2025, we got this very sad note from our gardener who I will call RM to protect his identity. He has been with us over 13 years… since 2012. He sent this note out today to about 55 of his customers in Culver City, Inglewood, Ladera Heights and San Pedro to inform us that he will not be able to provide gardening services at this time due to the ICE raids. He is not a criminal!!! He’s a hard-working man with a wonderful family… wife and three small children… trying to live a good decent life… the American Dream. He obeys the laws and pays taxes. Now, he’s afraid to go outside or attend his immigration hearings because ICE is there to snatch everyone up. He also has three workers he paid and now they can’t work. Like all of us, they have bills to pay… rent, utilities, medical, insurance, food, etc. So, we felt compelled to create this GoFundMe post in the hopes that some kind people will donate to help RM and his family and his workers during this difficult time. No amount is too small. Thank you!
