As a growing business, RMB Fresh Juice strives to promote wellness, support healthier eating habits, and create opportunities to serve individuals, families, community, students with fresh nourishing products. Through dedication, hard work, and a vision for sustainable growth, we are working to build a business that not only supports my family but also makes a lasting contribution to the community.

My Funding Request: Completing the RMB Fresh Juice Food Truck

Challenges affect everyone, and as a growing business owner and mother of two toddlers, I am facing some of those challenges firsthand. I have invested more than enough in my juicing food truck, and I am now seeking $15,000 in funding to complete the necessary modifications and meet the state's regulatory requirements before I can fully operate.

The remaining work includes installing a compliant handwashing sink and splash guards, replacing household refrigerators with commercial-grade refrigeration, installing appropriate screens and self-closing devices, separating the driver's cab from the food preparation area, sealing openings in the rear entrance, creating proper utensil-drying space, and ensuring that the water tanks, plumbing connections, pump, and water heater meet applicable requirements.

These improvements are essential steps toward making RMB food truck safe, compliant, and ready to serve the public.

What the Funds Will Accomplish

The requested $15,000 will help cover the equipment, materials, installations, and modifications needed to bring the truck into compliance with state requirements. As a single mother of two, completing this project will allow me to move beyond serving outdoors under a tent, where I currently face the challenges of working in extreme heat and cold while caring for my young ones.

With a fully equipped and compliant food truck, we will have a more reliable and professional way to serve customers, protect the quality of RMB products, and expand the business operations. It will also help us establish a more consistent schedule, reach more customers, and make fresh juice available to the community more regularly.

Additionally, operating from a properly equipped truck could reduce dependence on commissary kitchen services and help lower ongoing expenses associated with preparing and storing fresh, prepackaged juices, depending on the final approved operating arrangement.

This funding is more than financial assistance; it is an investment in a small business with a purpose which will help complete an important investment already made, create a more stable foundation for my family, and strengthen RMB Fresh Juice's ability to serve the community and the initiative to change the Buncombe Public School Breakfast and Lunch program. I have been selected to be part of the the School Health Advisory Council Meetings in Buncombe County.

I have already taken a significant financial step toward making this dream a reality. With an additional $15,000, I can move closer to meeting the required standards, completing my truck, and turning my investment into a sustainable business that serves more people, students and schools.

I am asking for your support to help RMB Fresh Juice reach this important milestone. Every contribution brings me closer to operating a fully compliant food truck, growing RMB business, and sharing fresh, natural nourishment with the community.

Thank you for believing in RMB Fresh Juice and supporting RMB FRESH JUICE journey toward building a healthier, stronger, and more sustainable future.

Sincerely,
