Please help our friend "RL" avoid homelessness after a medical crisis.

Dear friends and kind strangers, I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend RL, who is facing an unimaginable crisis. Due to a botched medical procedure, she has been grossly disfigured and left in severe, long-term pain. She is unable to work as she undergoes extensive medical treatment and imaging, while her new medical team searches for a qualified surgeon to help her.

She is at risk of losing her housing in May after going through all her savings. Her pared-down monthly expenses are $2,200, and we are hoping to raise $13,200 to cover six months of living costs. This will give her the time and stability she needs to focus on her health without the added stress of homelessness.

Her home is currently a safe place to heal while her doctors coordinate the care necessary to take her pain away. Anyone who knows RL knows she is a fighter, a deeply compassionate person, and a resolute advocate in her community who has always been there for others.
