Help RJ's recovery from the loss of his hand

Hi, my name is Lisa and I am fund raising for my nephew’s son, RJ. RJ being a young curious teenager came across a large firework while riding bikes with his cousin on July 5th. Actually, a mortar left behind from a group lighting illegal fireworks the night before. Of course, they had to light it. In doing so RJ lost most of his dominant hand. His cousin also received burns and minor injuries as well, thank God, because it could have been so much worse for both of them. RJ has already had 2 surgeries with more to come. His mom, Ashley has had to take long-term if not permanent leave from work and his dad has missed many days to be with his son during this difficult time. RJ has a long road ahead of him. His life is forever changed. He will have many months of healing and years of rehabilitation to learn life skills again with one hand.
