This summer, the amazing players of Riverside Juniors Madrid U10 Football Team are taking on an epic challenge — climbing the iconic Roseberry Topping (1,049 ft high!) in North Yorkshire!

Our young footballers are lacing up their boots, not just for the love of sport, but to raise vital funds for their team. For every foot they climb, we aim to raise £1 — that’s a target of £1,049!

Why We’re Climbing ‍♂️⛰️

Grassroots football brings kids together from all backgrounds, teaching them teamwork, resilience, and confidence. But running a junior football team takes more than passion — we need equipment, entry fees for tournaments, first aid equipment, and training gear to keep our players on the pitch.

With your support, this climb will help us fund:

⚽ Essential equipment (balls, goals, bibs, cones)

Entry fees for local & international tournaments

Sports gear (boots, kits, shin pads, rain jackets)

Travel costs for away games & training camps to help the lads on their journey.

Our under-10s are a fantastic group of boys from the Riverside Juniors Football Club. They’ve trained hard all year and developed so much— now they’re ready to take on a whole new challenge as a team: reaching the top of one of the UK’s most famous peaks!

Together, they’ll conquer 1,049 ft — and with your help, turn every single foot into a step toward better opportunities in football.
