The night of January 29th, my beautiful 4-month-old baby Australian Shepherd River, had gotten attacked by a cat. One claw had dug deep into his eye, destroying his cornea down to his lens. After visiting the vet, the 3 options were given to me: loading him up on steroids and medicines with the risk of infection down the road and worsening of the eye, surgery for potential restoration and saving of his vision and eye, or surgery for complete removal.

Stalling till his set surgery date on Wednesday, February 4th, I currently have him on the 9 medications, including topical and oral. His surgery costs a total amount of $9,201.12. I don’t want to give up on him. He came into my life at my lowest point and has done nothing but light up my world ever since. Everyone who knows River knows he’s a smart, goofy, sweet boy. So full of love and life, he deserves to see this world whole.

Updates on him will be posted daily. Please Share! Thank you for any donations ❤️‍
