Hi, my name is River and I’m 11 years old. I go to Wilson Middle School, and I’m working to raise money because one of my teachers nominated me to go to the Lone Star Leadership Academy summer camp. Here's a link to read more about this camp.

Lone star Leadership Academy

I really want to go because we get to visit awesome places like NASA’s Johnson Space Center, the Challenger Learning Center, and a bunch of other cool places that you don’t get to see every day. It would be a really fun and exciting learning experience for me.

The camp costs about $1,500, so anything you can donate would help a lot. I’m also working in my parents’ woodworking business to earn some of the money myself, and my parents are helping too.

Even if you can only give a little, it still helps. Thank you for supporting me and my goals.
